Attached-to-the-Body Carry
Handguns can be attached to the body by using shoulder holsters, ankle holsters, and belly bags.
- The shoulder holster is worn on the shoulder and keeps the handgun close to your body.
- The ankle holster is worn around the ankle. However, the gun may become exposed if your pant legs move up from their proper position.
- The belly bag (also known as a fanny pack) is worn around the waist. It allows you some of the advantages of off-body and clothing-supported carries. You can keep the handgun close your body and carry other personal items in the bag.
